Our Condolences to the citizens of Norway

A sadistic tragedy occurred in Norway on Friday, July 22, 2011, the tragedy of mass killings carried out by Anders Breivik Behring by bombings and shootings that killed 76 citizens of Norway.

Breivik, the perpetrator, stating that the purpose of waging a terror attack it is to change the Norwegian society through the "revolution". According to police, 32-year-old Breivik publish the diaries on the internet titled "2083, the European Declaration of Independence" on the day he launched a terror attack. In the "declaration" was 1,500 pages long, he issued a doctrine of ultra-right anti-pluralism, anti-immigrant, and anti-Muslim.


Expressions of solidarity and condolences came from all over the world for the people of Norway. Indonesia, as one country that has diplomatic relations are very familiar with Norway co condolences, even formally the President of Indonesia, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono held a press conference to condemn the action.

"Terrorism is not freed from religion, tribe, nation, or other identity. Terrorism is terrorism," said Yudhoyono at the Presidential Office.


Muhammadiyah, a religious organization in Indonesia, the Muhammadiyah Youth participate in providing action condolences. 30 activists, Muhammadiyah Youth, held a solidarity action to express sympathy to the victims of terrorist acts in Norway in front of Menara Rajawali, Mega Kuningan, the Norwegian Embassy in Jakarta. 

We on behalf of the citizens of Indonesia, also say condolences to all citizens of Norway, your grief is our grief. We join in condemning the terrorist acts around the world.
