Full Moon Blues @ Semarang

Hello friends, this time, Wanita Indonesia-IFS, was in the city of Semarang. The cold air in Semarang, makes me want to enjoy this dark night. This wonderful night, is so complete with full moon light.

Life was pretty good today, what a wonderful gift of God tonight. Spoken gratitude to God for all spills and gift. Seeing the beautiful light of the full moon makes us want to be poetic. String of words to compose sentences and paragraphs of a poem. Oh My God thank you for this wonderful evening.

Semarang (pronounced [səmaraŋ]) is a city on the north coast of the island of Java, Indonesia. It is the capital of the province of Central Java. It has an area of 225.17 km² and a population of approximately 1.5 million people, making it Indonesia's fifth largest city. Semarang is located at 6°58′S 110°25′E / 6.967°S 110.417°E / -6.967; 110.417. A major port during the Dutch colonial era, and still an important port today, the city has a dominant Javanese population.

A beautiful full moon is more complete with music performed by Slank. Full Moon Blues, the title of the song is according to the beautiful full moon tonight. The song was sung by Slank with star guest Toni Montana in Java Jazz Festival 2009.

JP Millenix : The Next Indonesian Female Best Drumer

Her name is Jaanitra Priyanka Millenix. Her friend sometime call her JP Millenix. She's 10 year-old girl. She lives @ central Jakarta, her biggest dream is to become one of the best female drummer in the world.

Her performance on Indonesia Mencari Bakat (IMB), a searching talent program on Trans TV, proved to us that she can be the best drummer in the near future. For many weeks, she performed with powerful drum beat, Rockin, energetic.

Her best performance while she played Erotomania-Dream Theater, her performance received rave reviews from Mike Portnoy, drummer for Dream Theater. Watch this video, you'll know how great and Rockin's JP

August,8, 2010 was her last performance on IMB. In collaboration with Candil, ex Seurieus Band's Lead Singer and John Paul Ivan, ex Boomerang's Lead Guitar, JP performed Sweet Child O'Mine, a song from Guns N' Roses. Look, how she Rock us :

So many tears among Millenixer and most of Indonesian citizen and also Drummer while she's eliminated from IMB. On television last August 8, 2010 IMB, seen one of IMB Jury, Titi Sjuman, cried so hard. Titi Sjuman also known as Indonesian Female Drummer, who during the IMB is always giving advice and encouragement for JP Millenix.

For the next weeks we won't see JP Millenix again as Finalist on IMB Trans TV. But JP, is not the end of your journey as a drummer, we still love you and give you support to become one of the best female drummer in this world, so keep on Rockin'.

Slash "The Godfather" Concert @ Surabaya & Jakarta

Few days ago Slash "The Godfather" had just performed @ Surabaya and Jakarta.

Former Guns N' Roses guitarist did his best for Indonesia, thank you Slash.

Saul Hudson (born 23 July 1965), better known by his stage name Slash, is a British-born American musician. He is the former lead guitarist of the American hard rock band Guns N' Roses, with whom he performed and recorded between 1985 and 1996. He later formed Slash's Snakepit and co-founded Velvet Revolver with his former bandmates Duff McKagan and Matt Sorum, and his debut solo album, Slash, was released in April 2010.

Slash has received critical recognition as a guitarist. In August 2009, Time Magazine ranked him #2 on its list of the "10 Best Electric Guitar Players of All-Time". He was also ranked #21 on Gigwise's list of the "50 Greatest Guitarists Ever".

The songs have been divided in two discs: the first one, dubbed "The Dark Side," features heavy, metal-influenced songs, while the second one, entitled "The Light Side," spotlights the band's melodic side. The set spans the years from 1991 to 2005, therefore it doesn't include any songs from Dream Theater's debut album, When Dream and Day Unite, from their 2007 release, Systematic Chaos, or their 2009 release, Black Clouds and Silver Linings (which didn't exist yet at the time of the compilation's release).

Drummer Mike Portnoy explains in the album's booklet that the selection of songs were carefully made in order to appease both the newcomer and the already existing fan by offering up different versions of songs on other albums to "make the newcomer want to buy the albums from whence they came" and to "give different versions of songs already on other albums" to the current fan. He also suggests that a third disc should've been included called "The Epic Side" showcasing their progressive side.

Jim Brickman (November 20, 1961 - ) is an American songwriter and pianist. He has been named the most charted male Adult Contemporary artist to date, with six of his albums receiving Gold and Platinum status. He is known for his solo piano compositions, pop-style instrumentals, and vocal collaborations with artists such as Michael W. Smith, Martina McBride, Donny Osmond, Olivia Newton-John, Lady Antebellum, and others. He earned a Grammy nomination in 2003, SESAC "Songwriter of the Year" award, Canadian Country Music Award for "Best Vocal/ Instrumental Collaboration, and a Dove Award presented by the Gospel Music Association. His CD entitled Faith has been nominated for a 2010 Grammy Award for Best New Age Album.

Since 1997, he has hosted his own radio show called Your Weekend with Jim Brickman, which is carried on radio stations throughout the United States.
Brickman has also released three PBS specials, and hosts an annual fan cruise. He is founder of Brickhouse Direct, a company that provides strategic marketing and e-commerce solutions for clients in a variety of industries.

Though classically trained, pianist Jim Brickman prefers to play more pop-flavored, gently lyrical new age music. His unique compositions are emotional and structured, but not rigidly so. Brickman enrolled in the Cleveland Institute of Music in his late teens. The focus was on classical music, but Brickman could not escape the lure of mainstream music and at age 19 began writing commercial jingles. This led him to compose music for such major outfits the Gap, Isuzu, Sprint, and Kellogg's as well as with Jim Henson and Henson Associates. During his association with Henson, he composed for the Muppets and for projects on Sesame Street. He also assisted on some of Henson's Disney projects. Brickman recorded his debut album, No Words, on Windham Hill in 1994. The following year he released By Heart on the same label, and in 1997 issued Picture This as well as The Gift, a collection of seasonal favorites. Visions of Love followed a year later, and in early 1999 Brickman returned with Destiny. A classy live effort, My Romance: An Evening with Jim Brickman appeared in 2000. Two years later, Brickman crafted a beautiful children's album called Love Songs and Lullabies. Efforts such as Grace, Peace, and The Disney Songbook followed in the relaxing yet elegant vein of his earlier work. "I Dreamed a Dream" is a song from the musical Les Misérables. It is a solo that is sung by the character Fantine during the first act. The music is by Claude-Michel Schönberg, with orchestrations by John Cameron. The English lyrics are by Herbert Kretzmer, based on the original French libretto by Alain Boublil.

The song is a lament, sung by the anguished, dying and impoverished Fantine, who thinks back to happier days and wonders at all that has gone wrong in her life.

Susan Boyle version

The song had a resurgence in popularity in 2009 when Scottish singer Susan Boyle performed it live as her audition for the third series of the British reality television programme, Britain's Got Talent. Boyle's performance elicited a unanimous vote for passage into the next round of competition by judges Piers Morgan, Amanda Holden and Simon Cowell, with Morgan giving Boyle "the biggest yes [he had] ever given" in his three years of judging the show. Elaine Paige, Boyle's role model, later expressed interest in singing a duet with her. The programme received high ratings and Boyle's performance was quickly added to sites such as YouTube, where millions of people viewed it in the first month alone. Boyle sang the song again during the finals of Britain's Got Talent on 30 May 2009, where she placed second in the competition behind British dance troupe Diversity. Today, it is known as the song that catapulted her to super-stardom, and it helped sales of her album I Dreamed a Dream. Currently, the album has been declared as the fastest selling debut album of all time in the UK, and sold 701,000 copies in its first week in just the US, breaking the record for highest debut ever for a solo female artist.

Shortly after Boyle's audition aired on ITV in April, the Original London Cast Recording of LuPone singing "I Dreamed a Dream" was downloaded to such a degree that the song entered music charts in the U.S. and UK. The U.S. Billboard magazine's Hot Digital Songs and Hot Singles Recurrents charts for the week of 2 May 2009 had LuPone's 1985 recording at #61 and #20, respectively. LuPone's version also reached #45 on the UK Singles Chart on the week of 25 April 2009. Susan Boyle's later 2009 recording rivaled pre-order sales records on Amazon.com in November 2009.

I Dreamed a Dream is the debut album from Scottish singer Susan Boyle. It was released on 23 November 2009 by Syco Music in the United Kingdom, and by Columbia Records in the United States one day later. In the standard edition, 11 out of the 12 songs that appear on the album are cover songs, plus the original composition "Who I Was Born To Be". It quickly became the world's biggest selling album of 2009. The album has sold over 9 million copies worldwide.

The album entered the UK album chart at number 1 and became the fastest-selling debut album in 2009 in the UK, selling 411,820 copies, beating the record previously set by Spirit by Leona Lewis and outselling the rest of the top five albums combined during its first week on sale. Joseph Satriani (born July 15, 1956 in Westbury, New York) is an American multi-instrumentalist, known primarily for his work as an instrumental rock guitarist, with multiple Grammy Award nominations. His dexterity and years of dedication to his craft have earned him a reputation as a shred guitarist. Early in his career, Satriani worked as a guitar instructor, and some of his former students have achieved fame with their guitar skills (Steve Vai, Larry LaLonde, Kirk Hammett, Charlie Hunter, Kevin Cadogan, Alex Skolnick). Satriani has been a driving force in the music credited to other musicians throughout his career, as a founder of the ever-changing touring trio, G3, as well as performing in various positions with other musicians.

In 1988, Satriani was recruited by Mick Jagger as lead guitarist for his first solo tour. Later, in 1994, Satriani was the lead guitarist for Deep Purple. Satriani worked with a range of guitarists from several musical genres, including Steve Vai, John Petrucci, Eric Johnson, Larry LaLonde, Yngwie Malmsteen, Brian May, Patrick Rondat, Andy Timmons, Paul Gilbert, Adrian Legg, and Robert Fripp through the annual G3 Jam Concerts. He is currently the lead guitarist for the supergroup Chickenfoot.

He is heavily influenced by blues-rock guitar icons such as Leslie West, Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page, Ritchie Blackmore and Jeff Beck, possessing, however, his own easily recognizable style. Since 1988, Satriani has been using his own signature guitar, the Ibanez JS Series, which is widely sold in stores. He has a signature series amplifier, the Peavey JSX, and signature Vox pedals The "Satchurator" distortion pedal, The "Time Machine" delay pedal, The "Big Bad Wah" wah pedal and The "Ice 9" overdrive pedal to be released in June 2010.

Riding with the King is a blues album by Eric Clapton and B.B. King released in 2000. The idea for a collaborative album began during the sessions for King's 1997 album Deuces Wild.

The album contains B.B. King classics like "Three O'Clock Blues", "Days of Old", and "Help the Poor" from Live at the Regal. Other tracks include the Big Bill Broonzy-penned "Key to the Highway", Chicago pianist Maceo Merriweather's "Worried Life Blues" and a cover of Isaac Hayes's composition "Hold On, I'm Comin'" originally a 1966 single for Stax Records artists Sam & Dave.

Riding with the King won the 2001 Grammy Award for Best Traditional Blues Album. The album was also released on a DVD-Audio in higher resolution and with a 5.1 surround sound mix.

Aerosmith is an American hard rock band, sometimes referred to as "The Bad Boys from Boston" and "America's Greatest Rock and Roll Band". Their style, which is rooted in blues-based hard rock,has come to also incorporate elements of pop,heavy metal,and rhythm and blues, and has inspired many subsequent rock artists. The band was formed in Boston, Massachusetts in 1970. Guitarist Joe Perry and bassist Tom Hamilton, originally in a band together called the Jam Band, met up with singer Steven Tyler, drummer Joey Kramer, and guitarist Ray Tabano, and formed Aerosmith. In 1971, Tabano was replaced by Brad Whitford, and the band began developing a following in Boston.
